Dr Mohana Rajakulendran is a paediatrician at Parkway East Hospital, Singapore.
In addition to treating common paediatric conditions, offering developmental screenings and childhood vaccinations, her special interests lie in the treatment of paediatric allergic conditions and respiratory allergies. These include chronic cough, allergic rhinitis, asthma, hives and eczema. She offers dust mite immunotherapy as treatment for allergic rhinitis.
Dr Mohana is also well-versed in managing food and drug allergies and offers skin prick tests, blood tests and food and drugs challenges for diagnosis and management.
She received her general paediatrics and paediatric allergy sub-specialty training at the National University Hospital (NUH). She graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery and was subsequently conferred a master’s degree in Paediatric Medicine. She has been granted membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (United Kingdom) and is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, College of Paediatrics and Child Health (Singapore).
Dr Mohana was previously associate consultant at the Division of Allergy and Immunology, and Children’s Emergency, Department of Paediatrics, NUH. She currently serves as a committee member of the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Society (Singapore) and is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
She has been published in international journals such as Paediatric Allergy and Immunology and Asia Pacific Allergy.
